I have an obsession that drives my family crazy.
I photograph our lives in silhouette.
I love the ambiguity of a silhouette- highlighting the edges and fringes
and leaving the details up to the imagination.
I just can’t resist a hard light and a contrasted image, and a dab of photoshop.
My kids think I’m so dramatic… “Why can’t you just take a normal picture?” they cry.
Because whether we’re on top of a mountain,
or knee deep in the water somewhere,
I just can’t resist the moment.
I blame it on their cute little noggins.
So sue me.
